Washington BID to honor Frantoni, ALBEA, Gibsons Fitness Center, Dave's Friendly Service at Recognition Reception Feb. 8.

Frantoni Fashions for Men, a staple in Downtown Washington for nearly 40 years, will be honored as the WBID's Outstanding Business at the organization's annual Business Recognition Meeting on Thursday Feb. 8.

In addition to Frantoni, three other businesses will be recognized for their efforts over the years in giving back to the community: Dave's Friendly Service, Gibsons Fitness Center and ALBEA.

The Recognition Reception, which will be held at the Draught House on Rt. 31, Washington, is being presented by Hamburger Holdings, with support from Fliegauf Jewelers and Rossi Chevrolet, Buick, GMC.

Tony Strillacci, owner of Frantoni, has continually offered outstanding service to the Northwest New Jersey community, as one of the only family-owned such businesses in the state.   ALBEA has been a supporter of Washington area activities for years, in particular with their efforts in helping out the town's Green Team on several projects, as well as a company-wide green initiative.  Doug Jerman will accept the honor for the manufacturing company.

Kevin Hopkins and his partner at Gibsons, Mike Politanom support numerous non-profit organizations throughout the year.  Gibsons has also been the depository for items collected in the WBID's Jersey Cares troop program the past two years.  Dave's Friendly Service, owned by Dave Read, has been collecting toys for needy children at Christmas time consistently for many years.

The Recognition Reception starts at 6 p.m. and runs til 8 p.m.  Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door.  The evening also includes assorted appetizers and live music.  There will be a cash bar.
